The difference between spirituality and religion – Part 1

Well, you might say my journey started the day I was born. I was educated religiously in the First Baptist Church. I married a Catholic and after going to both churches throughout my marriage I decided that organized religion wasn’t for me.
It wasn’t until I retired that I really came into my own. You might say I am a metaphysical Christian. I do believe that a prophet named Jesus Christ walked and taught on this Earth. I do believe he was the son of God. I believe God is in each one of us. We are but a small drop in the ocean of eternity.
I believe in reincarnation and I believe that we should but it is not necessary to reincarnate to learn what our souls need to learn. This Earth plane is but a school for all of us, the school of hard knocks for some of us. As has been said, "we are spirits having a human experience."
I have studied many different philosophies, and have come to the realization that we each have our own truth. "To thine own self be true." You will know when you find your own truth.
I believe that one day this will be heaven on earth but not until we find it in our hearts to have unconditional love for all.
There is no one religion. Man made these. God does want us to honor and love him but he/she is not a God of judgement. God is love and therein lies the truth.
