Sow and you shall reap. This is the principle of prosperity. It is the modus operandi of the universe and the modus vivendi of human life. And it is the secret of abundance.

If you cleave to this principle, your life will be one of abundance.

It is the incomprehension of this principle that is the cause of all human misery. In contrast, it is the comprehension of this principle that has been the root cause of any happiness.

First, let us understand the principle.

When you sow a seed into fertile ground, you do not reap a plant that simply yields another seed. Instead, you reap a plant that provides that seed multiplied many times over.

The principle of sowing and reaping, then, is the secret of abundance.

Yet despite its obvious simplicity and its observable nature, it is consistently misunderstood.

And although one may disregard the idea itself, it still continues to work in your life.

Here, then, are the three most common errors associated with this metaphysical principle that governs all life, spiritual or mundane, animal or plant, animate or inanimate.

One: Not applying it at all. It is quite common for people to want to receive without giving and to want something for nothing. There is a price to pay for everything, even if it is free.

This is how it generally plays out. You want something and you try to get it. Your effort will result in your either not getting it or getting very little of it. If you want love, you try and get it from someone. If you want money, you try and get it from someone. And so on. The result of this approach is limitation, negativity, scarcity, and insufficiency.

Two: Applying it in reverse. Here is where the misery factor comes in. Political, military, or economic force is applied. Successful domination may or may not happen. Eventually, the backlash is far worse.

In fact, this is how mighty empires, seemingly invincible, have crumbled into the dust.
On an individual level, the same thing happens. An application of apathy, grief, fear, lust, anger, and pride results in a condition far worse.

Three: expecting the return to come from the recipient. When people first discover and apply this principle, they usually give up fairly quickly. Their act of benevolence or generosity often appears to be met with ingratitude. Rather than reciprocating, the recipient often appears to be indifferent or even sometimes hostile, feeling obligated and pressured.

If you wish to have an abundant, happy life apply the principle.

Here is how to do it:

Give consistently the best of yourself to help others and the world. This giving should be done freely, regularly, and generously, with no expectation of return and with a joyous heart.

Do that one simple thing and you will be a master of manifestation and live a life that you could never before have believed possible for you.

As you sow so shall you reap.

Your returns will come back multiplied. Every single unit of what you give, be it love or money, wisdom or service, will come back to you tenfold, if not more. The bigger your heart, the more overflowing your generosity of spirit, the more you will be overwhelmed by the quantity of the return.

Do this and you will be avoiding the three misunderstandings that prevent most people from understanding the principle.

You will be applying the principle, rather than ignoring it. You will be applying it in a positive way, rather than in a negative way. And you will not press the recipient to feel obligated but patiently await your own harvest from some other source, not yet known to you.

Now please understand one other thing:

Whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, the principle is always working. This is because it is the basic mechanism of how the universe itself operates. Just as inhalation and exhalation is necessary for the operation of your life, so too is giving and receiving essential to the life of the universe.

Applying it with awareness will prevent you from making the three deadly mistakes and turn your misfortunes into fortune and your inhibited life into one of joyous and spontaneous fulfillment.

Decide today who you are and decide what you can give to bless all of life. It may be a small gift that you have to give the world but it will magnify over time as the giving becomes consistent.

Understand and apply this simple principle and you will attain success not only as a human being but as a spiritual being, for, in the final analysis, all life is a unitary continuum.

Boy you got-to love a good debate about whether the world or anything in it truly exists or not! I can debate both sides of this story for a life time. In fact, some spend their lives doing just that, and solipsist’s are among those who do. Solipsism is a different spin on the views unearthed in the movie The Matrix. There’s just one hitch, solipsism’s been around long before The Matrix. British idealist, F.H. Bradley wrote about solipsism in his book, Appearance and Reality back in 1897. Even before that the Greek’s were tossing this theory around back in 425 A.D. Solipsism is the philosophy that promulgates that anything outside the mind is unjustified, therefore does not exist.

What a grand concept to debate! Are our own personal subjective experiences that of spontaneous reactions caused by the mind and nothing more? If you really think about it, you can certainly understand the philosophy behind solipsism if not the science. One cannot prove that everything around him/her is not made up by the mind; a figment of your imagination. What is real, what is not? This goes far beyond the question, “If a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?” This question asks, “Does the tree even exist at all?” Solipsism is the ultimate in selfish philosophies. If you are a solipsist and someone asks you, “What, do you think the world revolves around you?” You can say with all seriousness, “As a mater of fact YES it does!” Solipsism is not just a single concept or it does not have just one definition, but instead refers to several worldly views whose common element is some form of denial of the existence of a universe independent from the mind of the agent.

Nothing can truly be proven to exist some will tell you. What I love about the philosophy of solipsism is the notion that the world as we’ve been taught or as we know it is not that at all! The world is nothing but a personal mental delusion, a dream, evident in the lyrics of the song, Row your boat. But just as Jimmy said, “But you and I we’ve been through that, and this is not our fate.” Ultimately, solipsism sounds to me as if it’s the promulgated philosophy of a spoiled little brat or a mad scientist. In any event, nothing is axiomatic in this case. We can not truly denounce “reality” nor can we truly prove it exists. I’d rather believe that I’m not alone, rather than it’s broody counterpart. Moreover, it is irresponsible and dangerous to be a solipsist. If nothing else exists, what’s stopping me from robbing that bank, or cutting in line, or senseless murder?

I played a game called Grand Theft Auto on the Play Station 2 console, and ran around for countless hours murdering innocent bystanders. In that game I was a solipsist and believe me, that was not a very safe world. Philosopher, Ledger Wood, wrote in his book Solipsism, “Metaphysical solipsism is the variety of idealism which maintains that the individual self of the solipsistic philosopher is the whole of reality and that the external world and other persons are representations of that self having no independent existence” (Wood, 295)

If you really take a minute to think about this philosophy, it is a very selfish one, and its one that if it is true, what really can be gained by this? What can be gained by believing that you are really the only thing that exists and everything else you see, hear, taste smell, and touch are all in your imagination? This idealistic, anti-materialistic concept, if believed, is almost setting one’s self up for a lifetime of depression and isolation. So, solipsism is a great theory to kick around, but in the grand scheme of things, not a very good philosophy to live by.

The truth is that yes, they do, and no, they don’t.

How can I say this?

Tarot cards are simply a tool. A person who is attuned to their higher self and is in tune with the energies around them is able to utilize such tools for the purpose of scrying, or gathering information from the universe. The real magic is happening with that person, but most people choose a tool to externalize this process and make it easier.

Someone who is successful with tarot cards could be equally successful reading tea leaves or even reading a muddy puddle in the road on a rainy day. However, people choose the tool they are most comfortable with and stick to it.

Everything in the universe is connected – it is all one giant thing. One great organism. We are all the parts of it. This, which is God, is a massive interconnected system. Despite appearances, nothing is really unaffected by anything else. Therefore, when someone tunes into this web of connection and asks questions, the pieces line up in response. If you are using tarot cards, they will become ordered just right to give the correct meaning for the reading. Same with any other tools.

Of course, some tools are better for different purposes than others. If you need to pound a nail, you use a hammer. Could you do it with a screw driver? Sure, but it would take a long time and possibly damage the screw driver. Tarot cards and other metaphysical implements are tools available to assist a person in tuning into their higher selves, the part of themselves that is still connected with everything else, apart from our ego, or conscious mind, which believes itself a separate, functional unit.

So yes, tarot cards can work for people who know how to tune in and use them, but will not work for someone who does not. It takes a lot of practice and learning to become good with them, but those who achieve that level can lay out a perfect reading effortlessly.

Clear communication is a key factor to a

happy and fulfilling life. How well you

communicate will determine the quality

of all of your relationships, therefore

determining the overall quality of your

life.

The reason why most people have unsatisfactory

results in their life, is because they have

poor communication skills. People get frustrated

when they don’t get what they want, and often times

don’t realize it is because they did not communicate

clearly, what it is they wanted.

Poor results come from poor communication, not only in

personal communication, but also in metaphysical communication.

Many times people do not get exactly what they want in life

because their communication to the Universe or the Higher

Power and to themselves is unclear.

You must be very clear on exactly what it is you want when

communicating with another person, The Universe, or yourself.

I know you may be thinking, what do I mean with yourself.

A lot of times we are wishy washy with what we want. We

tell ourselves “I kind of want this, but I also kind of

want that.” or “I guess that would be alright.”. We need

to be very specific with ourselves of exactly what it is

we want. We cannot express clearly, to someone else, what

we want if we are unclear, about what we want, ourselves.

First we will discuss how to communicate with your Higher Power

to get what you want, then we will discuss how to communicate

with other people. I am using the term “Higher Power” or

“Universe” because I do not want to offend any one’s religious

beliefs. You can replace the term Higher Power with God or

whatever name you believe the creative source to be called.

The principles for communication will be the same.

To manifest what you want in life, from a metaphysical standpoint,

I would highly encourage you to sit quietly with a pen and paper,

and write exactly what it is that you want to create in your life.

Write what you want in great detail. The more detailed you are, the

better. Remember, this is about being extremely clear about what it

is that you want.

After you have written what it is that you want, I would highly suggest

that you read what you wrote one to three times a day out loud. This

will benefit you in two ways. First, it will help your mind get extremely

clear and focused on exactly what you want. Your mind being clear will help

you stay focused, take proper action and communicate to others in a more

clear, concise and effective
