Heart’s Desires: Attracting Love Rather than Promoting Yourself for It

The quest for love is always a true heart’s desire in my opinion. When I look at all the relationship books and dating industry events in Toronto it occurs that the quest for a boyfriend or girlfriend takes the mechanics of a professional marketing campaign. You are told to be a product, brand yourself, get professional pictures, write great copy on your profile, and all sorts of execution strategies on dates to “make someone fall in love with you” right away. This approach makes sense if I am selling a product but I’m weary that something as mysterious and miraculous as love can be summed up to a posh PR blitz on lavalife.com or match.com or plentyoffish.com.

One radical solution for some may be to consider that love is attracted in. This means that we may put our profiles out there to be seen but it is only 10% of the program. What is really the magnet for a special person is how we are preparing ourselves to receive love. I consider this the “heart-centered practical method of being your own genie”. I learned this notion of attraction when my friend James (www.workeroforacles.com) introduced me to Heart’s Desires by Sonia Choquette, Ph.D. of Chicago.

Having interviewed Dr. Choquette for my old radio program on more then one occasion, I was attracted to this book from the get go. So often, people fear to even dream because what if it doesn’t come true. Truth is, it can, if you do the work. Dr. Choquette provides a grounded, easy-to-understand, and fun self-study playful program in this wonderful book. Not only does she show a person how to get out of their own way … but she instills marching orders to believe it can happen!

I’ve manifested jobs, items, people, opportunities, and lots of other wonderful synchronicities since picking up this program in 2002. Heck – I am still working on manifesting a few more wishes in my heart! That’s the truly fun part of it. Nightingale-Conant has an audio version which is great for those long commutes to and from work. Dr. Choquette and Heart’s Desire are distinctive products in the world of metaphysical teachings. Number One: Sonia is a guide who directs clients to their highest soul purpose. It’s like being given the right driving directions to reach your intended destination in the quickest most efficient way. My impression is that this approach is far more helpful than simple straight prediction. Lots of psychics are straight predictors
