Sound and music have been used for millennia to create change. Tribal drums and chanting, mantras, and hymns all have known effects on consciousness. But it is not all “in our minds”, sound and music also affect our bodies. Snake charmers and fire walkers can attest to how sound and music can alter consciousness and make the body impervious to damage.

And now, so can scientists.

Science has devised modern ways to use sound. The military transmits radio frequency waves to submarines under the polar ice cap using sound wave theory. Nikola Tesla was a true master of “harmonic resonance.” He could bring down a tall building with a hand-held jigger (a mechanical device that produces a jolting motion) set to the building’s resonant frequency and located in the basement on a structural beam. Earthquake-proof buildings are designed with unequal distances between floors, which disrupts this resonant frequency. Ultrasound is used in medicine to determine the presence of abnormalities or potential problems in a fetus, dissolve kidney stones, and detect cancer.

Obviously vibrational theory is no longer solely the domain of mystics and clairvoyants. Take the now-popular video and book, “The Secret”. Larry King, Ellen Degeneres and Oprah have devoted tv shows to this phenomenon that is currently all the rage. But Dr. David Hawkins conducted research for 29 years and explains this power of attraction in his book “Power vs. Force”. Dr. Hawkins demonstrated that a person’s “vibration” mirrors his mental state and his body becomes stronger or weaker accordingly. Hawkins writes, “Music is in some ways the most subtle of the arts, for it’s the least concrete. However, in bypassing left-brain rationality to appeal directly to our subconscious right-brain sense of pattern, it’s at the same time the most visceral and emotional. It also provides the easiest example of how attractor patterns order reality…”. In layman’s terms, we can use music to raise our power to attract positive experiences in life, including health, wealth and happiness. The healing power of music can aid us in the realization of our inate birthright to be healthy, wealthy and wise.

Pure science, delving into the mysteries of the mind and how music affects specific areas and functions of the brain, opens the door to many avenues of exploration in treating and curing various diseases and conditions. The metaphysical journey to balance and harmony via music is being translated into a physical science. Music as a complex form of sound vibrations is being studied as a way to communicate with those who cannot speak, and even with those who cannot hear. There are therefore many areas to be explored in discovering the healing power of music.

The universal law of cause and effect is visible everywhere. The effects, or the evidence, is mostly what we can see and what we experience, while the cause is often more far reaching and indirect. Nevertheless, we can always trace the effect back to a cause. Most people end up blaming circumstances on ‘coincidence’ or ‘luck’ or ‘chance’, but in reality all these effects are nothing but a natural law asserting itself.

On a very practical level we are all very familiar with the concept of action and reaction. For every action there is an equal, but opposite re-action. This is one of the laws that Isaac Newton uncovered and is still one of the most fundamental laws by which this universe we live in is governed. On a much more metaphysical level the law of action and reaction, or cause and effect, also holds true. In the ancient eastern philosophy it was referred to as the law of Karma, where every single action will come back to you in like kind. Like a boomerang, what you put out will come right back at you, although it’s often disguised as something else.

A lot of the ‘effects’ in your life are caused by this strange human phenomenon called procrastination. Although it’s quite obvious that every action has a reaction, it’s a little less obvious that every in-action also has a re-action. It is not just what you do that makes the difference in your life, but also what you fail to do. Procrastination is that strange (lack of) behaviour where you want to do something, but still you don’t. The question that arises is ‘what are the causes and effects of procrastination?’ Well, there are many. Let’s look at three of the most common causes and effects of procrastination, keeping in mind that for every cause there is an effect.

Cause and Effect #1: The Fear Of Failure

The fear of failure is a major cause for procrastination. In fact, all forms of procrastination has some kind of fear at it’s roots. The fear of failure is a common fear that we all share. As human beings, we are not designed to fail. We are designed to consistently progress and improve. This fear then keeps you locked up in procrastination as a way of keeping your from failing. The effect of this form of procrastination then is quite obvious: failure to utilize opportunities. If you don’t act on opportunities they aren’t really opportunities are they? It is never a case of whether opportunity is knocking, but rather a case of whether you are acting on this opportunity and utilizing it.

Cause And Effect #2: Feeling Overwhelmed

We all have a limited mental and emotional capacity. Just like your physical capacity, you have a limit to what you can take on at any given time, and only you know what that limit is. When you overload yourself physically, your body usually breaks down in some form or another. When you overload yourself mentally and emotionally, your mind will intervene, usually in the form of procrastination, to keep you from a ‘mental overload’. The effects of this form of procrastination is that you start to avoid tasks, especially the important ones that you know you ‘must’ do.

Cause And Effect #3: Postponing Important Tasks

Procrastinators are actively seeking out diversions, no because they are lazy, but because at some level they fear the task that they are avoiding. By postponing a task you actually ‘lie’ to yourself. Instead of giving up or quitting – all you are doing is to make yourself feel a little better by saying ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’. By postponing important tasks, you postpone important results. Remember that for every cause there is an effect and when you postpone the actions you also postpone the results.

The are no definitive answers to what are the causes and effects of procrastination, as the effects are often far reaching. The simple fact is that without positive and constructive action on a consistent basis, you will rarely produce any significant results. Procrastination is what keeps you immobilized and locked up in where you are. To get to where you want to be, you have to break free and break out of this mould. You can overcome procrastination and you can learn to develop both your mental and emotional capacity to take your life to a whole new level you never thought possible before.

HOW TO GIVE GOOD SONIC PERSONALITY©

We live in an age of metrics. Traditional and new media advertising agencies often substitute metrics for understanding. Mathematical models create the appearance of scientific analysis, when in fact they are often manipulated to support a preselected agenda. We all know data can be massaged to conform to almost any conclusion. Besides, most small owner-managed companies can’t afford the expense of these agency-driven number crunching solutions. The real question is, do these metrics actually help us connect to our customers, who just happen to be people?

Emotions Win Over Rationality

After all, we are dealing with people, and people react to information on both a rational and an emotional level. If everyone bought goods and services based on a strictly rational basis, we would all be driving Smart Cars and wearing Old Navy jeans. People make decisions based on a perception of reality, rather than a rational analysis. Without getting too metaphysical, in business there is no reality, only perception. We believe what we think is true, or what is presented to us as true. Information is colored by who and how, the message is delivered.

Trying to Make ‘Senses’ Out of Life

We experience our lives through our senses. We see, hear, touch, and smell. It is through these senses that we create what passes for reality, and on that perceived reality we make our so-called rational decisions.

Left on their own, people will interpret what they sense in very individual ways. What tastes good to you makes me gag. The woman I think is beautiful you think is ugly. That is until we our told in some convincing communication, what we should think.

Skinny, shapeless, superior super models are beautiful because we are told over and over that they are, and ultimately we mostly learn to agree. So what does this all mean: reality is a managed state of mind. We are either the managers or the managed. Sounds pretty icky, doesn’t it, but there it is, and I for one rather be one of the managers than one of the managed.

Managing Perception

We have all been told from early on that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’ How many times have you quoted this famous saying? And you actually believe it, after all Confucius wouldn’t lie, would he? According to Jack Trout, in his book ‘The New Positioning,’ what Confucius actually said was, “a picture is worth a thousand pieces of gold.” Not the same thing at all is it? There is actually no evidence that Confucius made either remark.

The documented origin of the famous expression has been traced back to a guy named Fred Barnard who sold tram advertising in the 1920s by stating the claim in his advertisements. Originally he claimed it was an old Japanese proverb, but later changed his story and issued Chinese lettering with a translation in his ads. Who knows what the truth is, maybe old Fred invented the expression himself, but most people believe Confucius said it, and that’s reality, even if the damn thing was made up.

What You See is Nice, But What You Hear You Remember.

People want to believe what they see is the most important element in delivering a message, but I would argue that what you hear outweighs even what you see. Think about it. Companies spend millions of dollars on attractive logos and pithy corporate names, and I have no argument with developing a proper logo or a great name. But successful company names and logos have an element inherent in their design that goes beyond how they look. It is how they sound. When you see a visual brand representation, a signal goes off in your head and a little voice whispers that company name. Try to think of a popular corporate logo without the name of that company sounding silently in your head. Sound, and more specifically the human voice, is the most under utilized marketing tool we have at our disposal. And it’s ready to hit The Web, big time.

The Web is Made for Sound

The Web is a multimedia platform and your website should utilize every possible tool available to create your reality and to deliver your marketing message. No one was able to stop the flood of images from overtaking the Web, and soon audio will follow. Now I hear the screams of some crying out against the multimedia pollution on the Web, and I’ll agree that it will surely come. But here’s the thing, agreed most companies will implement sound on the Web all wrong and it will be just more noise, but if YOU do it right, you’ll be the winner. Your message will get through the noise, and you will define reality, and manage the perception of your audience. The question then is how do you effectively implement voice-audio on the Web?

For the fortunate few, life isn’t complete without a backpacking trip through Europe. This right of passage is believed to further the maturation process of college students, according to sociologists. Of course, others have opined that copious amounts of alcohol, sun and Amsterdam have something to do with it. Regardless of your purpose, you still have to figure out what to take.

Backpack – Getting In Touch With Your Inner Mule

Obviously, the first critical item is your backpack. While one doesn’t need to buy the $10,000 Himalaya Turbo Pack, you should also avoid the $12 blue light special. So, how do you pick a happy middle ground?

The best method for picking a backpack involves three phone books. Select/swipe/borrow three yellow page books from neighbors/friends/enemies and hit your local sporting goods store. With the books, head to the backpackapalozza section of the store and pick out a few sturdy/cool/outrageous rigs. Stuff the phone books in, adjust the straps and go for a walk. Now break out into a run to simulate future dashes for trains/ ferries/ toilets and make the sales people nervous. These steps should quickly reveal the perfect pack.

Now, you may have read other publications suggesting highly technical ways to select a backpack. Trust me, until you have run for the last ferry from Italy to Greece, you have no idea how to pick a pack. The three phone book test solves this nicely.

What To Take

There are a few mantras that every person should chant before packing for Europe. These chants were developed originally by the little known, Oh-My-Back Monks of Southeast Asia. The “OMB” Monks were known for traveling half way to far off cities, turning around, returning home and then traveling the full way to said cities. Religious experts opined as to the deep metaphysical meaning of such trips. They were later embarrassed when the monks revealed the back and forth nature of the trips was due to forgetting something, often whether they had turned off the iron. Nonetheless, such chants have become the guiding light of experienced backpackers.

Let us slowly and clearly chant together,

“I will pack only that which will not result in me being hunched over like a Sherpa.”

“Remember, I can pick it [(lower voice) toothpaste, book, soap] up over there.”

“I will not stuff thy pack to the point of bursting, for thy damn zippers always break/get snagged/refuse to work.”

“I will learn humility through wearing incredibly wrinkled clothes and shall not bring an iron.”

“I shall bring only one guide book, not one for each country that I MIGHT see.”

“I accept that I will come home wearing something I didn’t take and will have lost/traded/burned much of what I did take.”

For female travelers and, okay, the occasional male,

“I will not bring high heels or a gaggle of make-up.”

Admittedly, chanting these mantras will not bringing you immediate enlightenment. Fret, not. You can always throw items away or send them home in a box to your parents/friends/parole officer. For the resourceful backpacker, it is not unheard of to send particularly smelly/discolored/toxic clothing to an ex-girlfriend/ex-boyfriend/little brother. Follow these practical guidelines and you will soon happily be speaking in a loud voice to make foreigners understand you.

The Evidence

This is the hard part for most travelers to wrap their minds around. You will forget those special moments of your trip when you met the hunk Sven or babe Svenetta from Sweden and had a romantic evening/danced the night away/got arrested in Ios/Ibiza/the airport. Maybe not immediately, but you will eventually forget.

You will also forget or lose the contact information of people you meet, despite meticulously writing it down on the back of a coaster/napkin/your hand in a bar/poetry reading/jail at three in the morning. Surprisingly, said coaster/napkin/hand often survive the night/day/weekend and get deposited in your already trashed backpack. Of course, their presence is often forgotten when you later put a Oktoberfest mug/wet towel/toothbrush in. The extra padding at the bottom of your pack is specifically designed to deal with the decomposing result. Still, the information is gone and so is your future with Sven/Svenetta.

To properly record the magical moments of your trip, you must take a diary or journal. Don’t worry, you can burn it later before you get married/your parents get nosey/you have kids. You want a journal in a water/beer/sweat resistant case. Of course, I prefer a Nomad Travel Journal, but just make sure you take something. When you have some extra time in the bus/train/jail cell, you can record how you got there and the people you met.

Trust me, when you, Sven/Svenetta and your nine children are sitting on the porch 10 years later, you will greatly enjoy reading your journal. Of course, that assumes you didn’t burn it.

Here is a suggestion for a game to play at your next party. Write down this question on a piece of paper and pass it around. Make sure that everyone gets a chance to answer it. The question is, “How important is “belief” to you? I wonder what kind of answers you would get? Tell everyone that they can not qualify the question by asking questions about the question. Some will be tempted to ask things like, “Do you mean my religious beliefs?” or “Do you mean beliefs in general?” Just tell them to answer the question the best they can the way it is written, which is again: “How important is belief to you?” It will make for an interesting game I promise you that! Eventually someone in the group will say that belief is so important that it makes all things happen. This is the answer that the famous architect of the 50’s and 60’s Frank Lloyd Wright would have given. Frank Lloyd Wright was the controversial architect that created weird shaped houses and buildings that seemed to come out of the future. He used designs that many architects of his time said could not be done. You may recall one such house in the movie “North by Northwest”, an Alfred Hitchcock movie where the villain’s safe house hung over the side of Mount Rushmore on steel girders. Frank Lloyd Wriight is the chap from whom we take our quote today. He is the one who said, “The thing always happens that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen.”

Actually, Wright’s ideas are not so extraordinary. Many people believe like he that things happen because our belief in them makes them happen. On the other hand, Wright said two things in that quotes and some people find these two statements a mystical match-up. Wright said “The thing always happens that you really believe in”, and “the belief in a thing makes it happen.” Some would argue that one thing has nothing to do with the other. What about you? Where do you stand when it comes to belief and Wright’s presumption? This is another one of those positive thinking statements that crosses the spiritual metaphysical line so it is important that we get it correct.

Part “A” of his statement is harder to agree with than part “B”. Consider, in part “B” all he is saying is that – beliefs have power and it is that power that makes things happen. Without that kind of power most things would not get done. He has my complete agreement on that. “Belief in a thing makes it happen.”

However part “A” is saying something different. It is saying that things happen that you believe. Well, isn’t also true that things happen that we sometimes don’t believe? Absolutely! I am in a middle aged man and I still experience things that happen that I just could not believe. But before you are quick to agree with that last statement I suggest you pause and ponder it a bit longer. I must ask myself openly and honestly if I have become a believer because a thing happened that I could not believe. Suddenly I am in a new reality. Time has put me there. Just because I did not believe it doesn’t mean that I still don’t believe it. It is very possible that my disbelief has turned into belief over time. Now as I begin to look at the evidence I am beginning to wonder if part “A” isn’t also true. Example: I do not believe that nice attractive women often pick bad men to be their love-interest or partner. In fact that is true. The nicest prettiest women do go after the seemingly seedy characters in men. And though I refuse to believe it, it happens time and again. Upon examination my belief has changed over time and “The thing that happens which I say I don’t believe, I really do believe” making part “A” agreeable after-all.

But Frank Lloyd Wright did not mean this as two separate statements. He really did mean it to be a mystical, spiritual meaining if you will. The thing always happens that you really believe in is meant for us to reflect on the idea that to what extent we believe in a thing it will happen. Further, it is because the power of our belief is what makes a thing happen. This statement taken at face value brings up all kinds of debate for it represents something more than the two separate statements. It is almost as if Frank Lloyd Wright was trying to tell us a grand secret of the universe. I take his side once again. I too believe in the sacredness of the power of belief. I would further add to his statement that once you have attained belief, or once you know a thing to be true in fact, it no longer requires faith because it is known. Faith is something that is needed before we know for certain. Belief follows faith in order.

I believe one of our missions on earth is to become knowledgeable. In a spiritual explanation one could say that process comes in three stages. The first is complete unknowning. The second is having faith in a thing (going with it even though you do not believe yet). The third is knowing it as fact, (faith is no longer required). That is belief. Once we see life in those three stages, Frank Lloyd Wright’s presumption takes on the greater meaning I spoke about.

Read this article a second time to get the thrust. So why is this important to our self empowerment? Because in seeking self empowerment one looks for the sources of power from within. One source is belief; but before there is belief there is need of faith and knowing this will help us to be self empowered.

Today’s world is reaching a crisis point, and while many of our social structures are still intact for this moment, there will come a time when major changes will need to occur in the way we are living our lives on a day to day basis. This bold statement is shared not to create alarm and fear, but rather to awaken a sense of responsibility within all of us. This awakening has already begun, and most people are now aware that our current way of life is causing harm to the precious Earth we live on. The question now for many of us is … what can I do?

Our lives are already chock full of challenges. Just managing the day to day realities of life is for many of us a full time job. The growing complexities of life that have developed from the accelerated pace of change can at times feel overwhelming. We hear news reports of natural disasters, wars, poverty, disease, environmental pollution, and a seemingly endless number of new challenges … the amount of overwhelm can cause us to numb ourselves, and shut ourselves off from the realities that are happening around us.

How then do we help our struggling world? What can we do? The answer to this question lies within our hearts, and is much bigger and more important than we may realize. There are certain obvious things that we can do on a daily basis to conserve energy, recycle, and be more environmentally conscious. Thankfully, more and more people are stepping up and creating change in their daily habits in this way. This helps a great deal towards beginning to reverse the cycle of abuse to the Earth and lack of respect for her resources. There is a larger change that needs to happen however, that is at the root of the world’s problems. It is one that we all participate in unless we choose not to, and this has to do with our consciousness.

Consciousness? How can that affect the world situation? You may be wondering just how changing our awareness can affect things. Isn’t that in the realm of the metaphysical, for people who wear robes and chant and do strange spiritual practices? Dearest ones, taking responsibility for our consciousness is not just for those with a spiritual awareness. Our consciousness affects the world we live in, whether we are aware of it or not. The thoughts and energy we put into the world have an impact, and our consciousness creates the actions and choices we make on a daily basis.

Just how did the world get into the state that it is in now? It all started with where our collective consciousness has been. Humanity has been involved in developing our individuality, and in experiencing the world of physical reality without much attention to the larger whole of which we are a part. This was a necessary step in our evolution, but now times have changed. We’ve gone as far as we can in developing our individuality and unique identities.

Unfortunately, as we’ve explored our individuality, we have made choices that do not take into account the affects that our actions have on the larger whole. We’ve chosen to use energy resources that are finite, and that cause pollution of the Earth. We’ve chosen farming practices that remove the essential ingredients from our food, in favor of mass production. The lack of nutrients from our food has increased our health problems, but our healing practices have attempted to fix the symptoms without addressing the root causes. We’ve chosen to pursue individual wealth that brings prosperity to us and our families, but leaves the majority of humankind suffering in poverty and starvation.

All of these challenges we now face started with a consciousness that had forgotten our essential connections to the larger whole of life. We are divine beings that entered into physical reality in order to learn, and now at this crucial time in the evolution of humanity, we are beginning to learn how to reconnect with ourselves, with each other, and with the Earth. We are beginning to learn that our thoughts create our reality, and that what we think and feel matters as much as what we do.

One of the great spiritual truths shared with us by all spiritual teachers and religions is that we are all connected. We are a part of God, who lives within us. In the same way, all others in our world are equally a part of God, and are an essential part of the essential whole of life. Therefore, if we harm another, we ultimately harm ourselves. If we prevent others from receiving what they need, we limit ourselves because we are constricting the free flow of God’s light and life force.

These concepts are not new, but they have been mostly in the background of human consciousness, which up until this point was focused on pursuing more individualized goals. Times have changed, and now the only solution that can be found to the problems of today’s world is to work together, and to reconnect ourselves with our divine eternal nature as souls.

When we are no longer separated from the divine source of all light and love, our relationship with ourselves and with others changes. We are no longer alone, seeking to get our needs met, and competing with others who all are trying to get their needs met. Instead, we go within to connect with our hearts, to understand who we are, and what our purpose is for being on the Earth at this time. Each soul is present on the Earth for a reason, and when we discover and fulfill that purpose, our life makes a positive contribution to the world and in the process our own needs are met and fulfilled.

When we realize that our consciousness matters and has an impact on others, we take responsibility for our thoughts as well as our actions. Are you holding a grudge towards someone in your life? With an awakened consciousness, you realize that holding on to this grudge is creating a blockage in the free flow of light and love in your life, and you take steps to heal this pain you are carrying. You may not be able to let go of the pain right away, but your intention to let go, rather than to hold on, opens up the energy of healing. In the larger network of human consciousness, you’ve just created a small pocket of light and love, which enters the atmosphere of the Earth and strengthens the love and light present in the world. This small pocket is like a candle, which lights other candles that it comas into contact with.

On the other hand, if you choose to hold on to your anger, blame, judgment and so on, the emotions you are holding onto contribute to the cloud of negative energy that is present around the Earth during this time. You feel entitled to be angry, and refuse to budge. You may even act out your feelings and create disharmony or even harm to others. In this way your choice contributes to this very same energy pattern which is prevalent in so many of today’s world conflicts and wars. There is still no strict definition on what alternative medicine really is. But presently, it borders on the broadness of description covered by what we know of as conventional or orthodox medicine. However, to define alternative medicine as we believe it to be, it may be a knowledge that is considered as unaccepted, untested and unscientific. All these were true if we are to look some years back. But since alternative medicine has been studied in the later years, employed by numberless institutions (such as spas and the likes) and accepted by many as cure to their ailments (even those that may be resolved through conventional medicine), this definition for alternative medicine may already be considered as obsolete.

On other terms, alternative medicines are practices that may be considered false that sometime go to the extent of quackery. However, this definition is much abused by several authorities that have their own systems of beliefs and other things to support to. Still others would define it as practices that may not be tested, refuse to undergo tests and may continuously fail tests. On other peoples’ view, this may be too unfair for those practicing the knowledge that comprise alternative medicine and too sweeping a statement since many have gained healing by means of alternative medicine.

This debate on the authenticity of alternative medicine is further made complicated by the number of practices that are labeled as alternative medicine, which has some truths in them. In actuality, alternative medicine covers procedures involving metaphysical principles, spiritual and religious underpinnings, new sets of healing approaches and non-European medicine practices. These are enough reasons why alternative medicine is much harder to accept in the West rather than in the East where most these practices originated. In addition to these, many proponents of alternative medicine contradict and many individual belief systems may reject others.

Furthermore, critics of alternative medicine may further define it as therapy, treatment and diagnosis that may be performed legally by unlicensed practitioners. But there are more logical and unbiased definitions that are accepted by most. Many of which deal only on the safety and affectivity of the alternative medicine without the protection on economic interests, political views and turf protection. One such definition is that alternative medicine is a field of healing, therapy and diagnosis that are not based on controlled studies.

There are however some therapies that were once covered by alternative medicine that are now accepted within the medical community since they passed approval over their affectivity. On the opposite, there were medical practices that are now disregarded within the medical circles since there are no profound evidences that prove their efficiency in healing.

In reality, the term alternative medicine is quite misleading. Both critics and advocates of the said practices support this view. Some support the idea that Western medical practices are the alternative medicines since they were preceded by ancient practices, which is somewhat true. Others would claim that the term “alternative medicine” was only devised by advocates of conventional medicine to discredit the natural methods of healing.

Detractors on alternative medicine claim that it is not worth as being accepted by the medical circles since it lacks components that may be used to support its efficiency. Yet many assert that once alternative medicine is fully tested, then there would be great rooms for wide acceptance.

I had talked about the five existence dimensions of the human to you in my previous articles. The human gathers on himself all the physical and chemical features of the matters world in first dimension, all the physiological features of the plants world in second dimension, all the psychological features of the animals world in third dimension. He also gets a humanistic personality different from the other creatures with the thinking, deciding and adjudicating ability in fourth dimension.

Certainly the wonderful benefactions have been provided to himself until the human comes this level. Now, try to think only the physiological dimension. Thousands of chemicals perform their parts in this mechanism. Think to not do only one enzyme or only one hormone it’s act. How distressed days human lives.

Try to remember the benefactions at your psychological dimension. Think to weaken your attention, to be absent your memory, or to lose your consciousness. Imagine that you are afflicted with mental deficiency. How bad case for you!

Now, think to be destroyed your mind benefaction. Everybody treat you like dirt, for you can not think and for you can not be possessed of the power of deciding and responsibility. You can not manage yourselves. You can not manage your wares and properties. Your relations with the society in which you live completely breakdown. You can not sign an agreement and a contract. You can not vote. Even, if you bring any information, nobody believes this news. This is how much bad case.

The human, here, in his first four dimensions, has attained measureless benefactions of his creator Almighty God (Allah) who has possession of mercy and compassion. But, I’m sorry to say, the majority of the humans are not aware of these benefactions.

My dear brother,

The Almighty Allah (God), who is the creator and the greatest conservator of the human, has equipped with such measureless benefactions the human up to fourth mind dimension. And He also wishes to complete His benefactions and favors on the human by carrying him to the vertex of the maturities for rendering him much more precious and excellent in fifth dimension after this point.

“Allah does not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favor to you, …” (Qur’an, Maide, 6)

But these favors that will be realize after this phase has been rendered dependent on the own will of person. Namely, for this, it is necessary that person must abandon his own personality, his own arrogance, and his own egoism; and he must completely submit and subject to his creator’s volition. This submission is called, briefly, as Islam.

I had tried to expound the human in the previous articles. In this article, I’ll try to explicate Islam.

My dear brother,

Islam is an Arabic originated word and it means “submittal, to lay down one’s arms”. Its meaning as a religious term is submission and being subject to the volition of The Almighty Creator that He has not a match, a partner, a similar and an assistant; He has created the physical and metaphysical worlds; He keeps them in existence by supplying their needs; He provides necessary power, force and energy for them; He arranges and organizes them in wise which He wills; He renders present or absent every things who wills, at the time He wills; He is real owner the whole property and is only one sovereign on the worlds. Islam is to live according to the orders, the wishes, and the rules of this Almighty Creator, but not according to the wishes of person’s own ego. Briefly, Islam is to live as Allah wills, but not as his own self desires.

Certainly, this is realized only by belief. Can it be under discussion to be subjected to God’s volition, without believing and not being accepted His existence? For this reason, the religion erudites have accepted that the belief is the fundamental of the religion.

My precious brother,

Religions are the systems in which divine schooling becomes fact. Divine mercy turns into well behaviours in the personality of the human owing to religions. By means of the religions, the human gets a clean and mature divine personality, escaping from the bad and egoist humanistic personality.

The Almighty Creator sees proper the name Allah for Himself in His Last Book. This name gathers all nice attributes of Him on own self. For this reason, I’ll prefer to use this name.

“The Religion before Allah is Islam.” (Qur’an, Al-i Ýmran, 19)

Islam is to appear the Rab (educator) nice attribute of Allah on the human. Allah taala has given Islam name for own schooling system that will bear away the human to the peaks of the maturities. Islam is a doctrine. It is the name of an educating and schooling system notifying by a prophets chain be ranging to Muhammed aleyhissalaam from Adam aleyhissalaam.

The essence of all the celestial religions is Islam, though there are some differences between their sharia. Islam is an ego educating system. Islam means to live a person according to The Almighty Creator’s wills, but not his ego’s wills. Islam means that submittal of the human to the rules of Allah by witnessing the existence of Allah taala who is the creator and pedagogue of him; to prefer the wishes of Allah rather than his own wishes; delimitating his own wishes by the wishes of Allah; not exceeding the limits being notified by Allah taala.

Islam means to be subject to His rules by beleiving only one Creator that He has not a match, a partner and a similars; He has created the universe and all the worlds; He holds them in existence; He provides all the needs of them by His mercy and His kindness. They are called as “Muslims” the persons who are subject to the rules of Allah taala in this wise. The Arabic originated word “Muslim” means “the submitted person to Allah”.

The religion being notified by all the prophets since Adam aleyhissalaam is Islam.

Each one of the prophets did not bring different religions such as Judaism, Christianity, Mohammedanism that the majority of people such suppose; contrarily, all the prophets have notified only one religion Islam. The people has nicknamed afterward as Judaism, Christianity. All the prophets were Muslims. All of them were sent to introduce Allah Taala who has not a match, a partner and a similar; to teach to the people to behave according to the rules of Allah, but not according to the wishes of their ego; to point the correct way to them. All of them also baded to not kill the men unmeritedly; to not do harm the humans’ body and goods; to not live intercourse out the marriage, namely to not fornicate. All of them also advised to love each other; to not do spitefulness; to not tell lies. Today, all merits being possessed by the humans, either prayerful or ateist, have arrived up to us by means of the prophets of Allah.

But it is existing that, each one of the profets brought partially different rules according to the conditicons of that time. The each one of these is called as sharia. The last prophet Mohammed aleyhissalaam has also notified the rules that both to correct the false comments coming out at previous times, and to keep its currency along all times for maturing all the humans eternally.

For this reason, a man finds the right by subjecting to a whichever prophet, on condition that he must subject to essence of religion. A person who subjects to previous sharia must take attention the abolishing rules by the following sharia. Subjecting to the last prophet Mohammed aleyhissalaam is also a completely maturity. It likes to prefer the latest model auto to arrive at the destination.

I’ll try also to tell you Islam at my latter articles. Islam is the perpetual happiness way of the human who is a precious creature. The walking men in this way attain the salvation both in this and the other world. But also somes turning aside by subjecting to their disdainful ego go heresy for own themselves harm.

New Mexico

With mountain ranges and desert areas, New Mexico is a popular state with outdoor enthusiasts. Once can ski, hike, fish, camp and explore some of the most beautiful land in our nation. On top of this, the influence of Native Americans is strong throughout the state with rumors and suggestions of locations with great healing energies. And then there is Roswell. Yep, New Mexico receives its share of UFO enthusiasts due to constant rumors of UFO sightings, government conspiracies and all that entails. Overall, you’ll find New Mexico to be a state with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly people.

Sante Fe

Ten years ago, Sante Fe would have been rated as one of the top 10 cities in the United States. Dominated by Native American and Spanish influences, the city was a gem. Built at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, it was a fine mix of unique adobe influenced architecture and impressive Spanish churches and structures. Today, the center of the city maintains this impressive atmosphere, but the city has suffered from its reputation. Large numbers of people have moved to the state, particularly Californians seeking to avoid high living costs. Sante Fe hasn’t dealt well with this population growth and the suburbs have a sprawling and unimaginative feel to them. Some people feel Sante Fe is still a gem, so give it a look if you are considering relocating.

Albuquerque

I always try to look for the positives in a city, but it is hard to do so with Albuquerque. I found the city to be a sprawling mess without much going for it. With over 500,000 residents, the city is the largest in New Mexico. There is a distinct Native American influence in the downtown area, but there isn’t much else to promote in regard to the city. Outside of the city, there are locations along the Rio Grande that are very nice. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t imagine living in Albuquerque. You might feel different, so give it a look.

Taos

Unlike Albuquerque, Taos is a town I can heartily promote. A bit of an art colony, the majority of the town’s population of 6,000 are Native Americans and they positively influence the town. Similar in feel to Sante Fe, but without the sprawl, the town is dominated by beautiful deep red adobe buildings and homes. With little cafes, museums and art galleries, the town offers a surprising amount of things to do. Make no mistake, however, Taos is a town to kick back and relax in. If you hate the rat race and sitting in traffic, Taos is the place for you. The ski resort in Taos provides some of the best skiing in the western United States.

New Mexico Real Estate

New Mexico real estate prices have traditionally been some of the lowest in the nation. With the influx of people from other states, prices have increased fairly dramatically. A single family home in Sante Fe will set you back in the $500,000 range, while the same home will run half that in Albuquerque. Taos homes vary entirely on the specific structure. Appreciation rates for New Mexico in 2005 were nearly 12 percent.
